Key of D. 174 BPM, 6/8 time.

One of the best ways to infuse some mystery or tension is to shift between major and minor. We don't hear this a lot in western or pop music. When we do, it's typically the 4 chord changing to a 4 minor.

This is admittedly a more "cinematic" technique... and it's so effective.

This lesson goes further by using the bass note to effect the change. By doing this, we get a really interesting sound while at the same time keeping it easy to play.

"MajorMinor" is part of the Study Series, a subset of lessons found in the main course.
